Summary of Skills
During my tenure at ADU my role focused on the below responsibilities but not limited to: Legal Entities: •tI was responsible to collect and review the required documents to apply for the Ministry of Higher Education approvals in order to appoint full-time/part-time employees and guest speakers for workshops or seminars. •tI communicated Ministry’s responses to the entire HR team and hiring departments/colleges. •tI also coordinated all formalities related to issuing new work permits, entry permits, and residence visas for ADU employees/sponsored students. •tI regularly maintained the database of all visa status, verified expiry dates, and ran the process of visa renewal in timely manner. •tI was also responsible for the Wages Protection System (WPS) •tI played a major role in Tawteen Program Reports: •tI was in charge of submitting the monthly report of the Wage Protection System including inclusions/exclusions of employees, and changes of employees’ bank accounts. Enter Bank details through PeopleSoft. •tAnd processed the monthly pension contributions of Emirati nationals and GCC nationals employed by ADU. Medical Insurance: •tI handled the additions/deletions and medical claims of ADU employees. ADU Licencing: •tI worked with outsourced company to prepare applications to obtain/renew the Trade License, certificate from Chamber of Commerce, Civil Defense certificates and other related legal requirements for the functioning of the University. Recruitment: •tI Supported the HR advisors with contacting shortlisted candidates and scheduling job interviews. •tI engaged with new joiners by supporting them during the onboarding process, as well as supporting the HR team during the offboarding process Compensation and Benefits: •tI was involved in implementing payroll, processing end of service, administered all benefits such as education allowance, annual tickets, leaves and housing, moreover modified policies, and procedures.
