General Information

I’m Dr Aymen Bourezgui, Assistant professor in physics, I earned my Ph.D. in Physics, Master’s degree in Physics of soft Matter and Bachelor of Science in Physics  all from the Faculty Sciences of Tunis, University of Tunis El Manar (UTM). I taught for 12 years, six at Carthage University in Tunisia and six at Northern Borders University in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

My teaching experience at Saudi universities has given me a broad knowledge of the Arabian Gulf’s teaching methods and strategies (System of Deletion and addition, academic guidance mechanisms, course system, academic accreditation files…). I also have a very good knowledge of the digital tool and communication tools in SMART classroom technology, Banner and Blackboard platform.

Currently, I am an assistant professor at Tunisia’s National School of Advanced Sciences and Technology (ENSTAB) and a research assistant at The Research and Technologies Centre of Energy (CRTEn). My research has mostly focused on thin photovoltaic layers (particularly TiO2) and nanocomposites, as well as the effects of nuclear (Neutron, Gamma and mixed) radiation on nanomaterials. Such works (10 publications) were published in ISI-listed journals (6Q1, 3Q2, and 1Q3) including four articles as the first author and allowed me to participate in many scientific events and conferences at national and international levels.

My professional experience in Tunisia and abroad acquainted me with the university’s rules and laws, particularly professional secrecy, and respect for the decisions of my hierarchical superiors at work, in addition to the maturity and responsibility resulting from the academic and administrative tasks and projects that I occupied at university.

I’m fluent in Arabic, French, and English and have excellent oral and written communication skills. I’m reconciled with my professional surroundings and can build positive and constructive relationships with colleagues and employees in an atmosphere of understanding and cooperation.
